Love Your Coast Office

‘Love your Coast’ aims to unite like-minded people and organisations across Aotearoa/New Zealand: working together to protect our coastlines. Sparked by young kiwis, Love your Coast will launch this December with a series of huge coastal clean-up events that starts in the most populated place in the country (Auckland) and finishes in the least (West Coast of the South Island).

These events come at a time when there is a huge opportunity to involve large numbers of school students in a simple and fun activity, at a time when heading to the beach is top-of-mind for many kiwis. These students will work with volunteers, organisations and community groups around the country to pick-up rubbish from the coastline -- an activity that combines hands-on learning with fun in a setting that everyone loves.
