Pukerua Bay Library

Open for nine hours a week, Pukerua Bay library is a busy little place with a wide range of material to cater to all tastes and age groups.

Highlights of the collection include a generous selection of children's picture books, the latest fiction for junior readers and young adults, a small but perfectly formed DVD collection, and an ever-changing array of CDs and audio books.

The internet can be accessed through the librarian's computer, meaning that research queries can be answered and homework support provided by using Porirua City Libraries' many online databases.

Shamila Gurr, the Pukerua Bay librarian, is keen to tailor the library services and collection to match the needs and preferences of the community.
