All Saints Anglican Church

All Saints Church in Sumner has suffered some damage but is largely intact. There have been significant rock falls from the cliff behind the church and geologists have concerns about the stability of the cliff and the land below. For this reason the All Saints is currently off limits until a full geotechnical survey and also a structural engineering assessment have been undertaken. It may be some time before these can be completed and services will not be held at Sumner during this time. The hope and expectation is that this advice is precautionary and we will advise if and when it is reviewed.

All Saints Church is a delightful stone building that is home to a vibrant Christian community. Constructed in 1963, the traditional style building might appear older than it really is. The church building is complemented by the Parish Centre, which incorporates a hall, lounge and offices.
