CJC's new series of Sunday concerts at Anthology, K Road features four exceptional new band leaders presenting and extending on performances that have earned them their degrees.

Guitarist Calum Dundas began his jazz studies at NZSM in Wellington and has since moved to Auckland to complete his Honors degree at the University of Auckland. This is Calum's band leader debut at CJC and he is excited to present a range of original compositions he has written in his last two years of study along with arrangements and compositions from his favorite artists.

Drawing influences from the greats such as John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, The Jazz Messengers and modern artists such as Jonathan Kreisberg, Calum’s aim is to keep the tradition ever-present as he presents his work in a quartet setting.
