Held as an offering to our local community, an opportunity to experience the power and transformation of Yoga & Meditation. Bring your friends, enjoy a cup of chai after class and meet your local community of like minded individuals. Come and heal, grow and expand into your fullest potential.

We open this space to invite a guest teacher to offer a class of their choosing as a gift to the community and to themselves. Teachers may be experienced international teachers that are traveling the world and visiting our beautiful shores, or local teachers from The Mount / Tauranga and further afield.

Their experience may be vast or they may have just finished their Teacher Training and gaining their first experience teaching in a yoga studio. Either way we will find great depth of connection gathering as a community to celebrate the healing qualities of our yoga practice, meeting others that share the same passion or curiosity as you and reveling in the mystery.

Each month, proceeds from the Community Yoga Classes are donated to an awesome Community Charity Organisation.

Your Teacher: Andrea Hudson

Andrea will teach Gentle Hatha and Yoga Nedra. Her emphasis is on keeping students safe and by moving through the yogic postures, becoming more aware of breath, gain insight into their bodies and thoughts, becoming present and participating fully in every moment.

Participation creates health, flexibility and strength. Andrea started her yoga journey 33 years ago in Auckland, where she attended regular Asthanga and Iyengar Yoga Classes at the Yoga Academy with Peter and Jude Nielsson.

In 2013, she attended Purna Yoga Teacher Trainging in Byron Bay, Australia (RYT200) and since then has been teaching part-time in New Zealand, Europe and Bali. In May 2019, she completed a further 300h teacher training in Australia to complete her 500h Yoga Alliance registration."
