The Topp Twins, identical twin sisters Dames Lynda and Jools Topp, are New Zealand's national treasures, well-loved for their unique brand of original music and comedy.

As performers and activists who started busking in Auckland's Queen Street four decades ago they have occupied a special place in our history ever since. From Bastion Point to the Springbok Tour, NZ's Nuclear-Free movement to Homosexual Law Reform, they sang protest songs from the frontline warming the hearts of New Zealanders and making us laugh whilst tackling the important issues.

With multiple award-winning TV series, several hit albums and children's audio books, they have been inducted into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame, presented with honorary doctorates and a documentary film about their lives, The Topp Twins, Untouchable Girls, broke domestic box office records and became a worldwide hit. In 2018 the Topp Twins were made Dame Companions of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to entertainment.

The twins re-invent themselves on stage, changing character, musical style and gender with ease. Armed with guitar, mouth-harp and spoons, they deliver original songs and character comedy with their unique trademark style of spontaneity, audience participation, incredible harmonies and some of the best yodelling you'll hear anywhere.
