International Organ Recital - Maurice Clerc

Titular Organist of Dijon Cathedral MAURICE CLERC will perform a recital at Wellington Cathedral of St Paul as part of his upcoming tour of Australia and New Zealand. A former pupil of one of the greatest improvisors of the age, Notre-Dame-de-Paris' Pierre Cochereau, Mr Clerc is a leading exponent of the art and will include an improvisation on a hitherto unseen theme.

Come and see music created on the spot by a former winner of the Lyon International Improvisation Competition. Mr Clerc will also perform works by Vierne, Fauré, Langlais and Cochereau.
