An opportunity to try yoga for the first time or to just come along and enjoy a class.
10-11.00am: Beginners Yoga - a chance for absolute beginners to give yoga a go or for you to take yourself back to the basics. An opportunity to learn yoga poses in their simplest form.
11-15am to 12.15pm: Classic Yoga - suitable for beginners or advanced, poses are adapted to suit all ages and abilities. Occasional flow.
12-30-1.30pm: Yoga Restore/Yin Yoga - restorative yoga, mostly on the floor. A soothing practice with poses mainly on the floor, using bolsters, blocks and straps to allow you to go deeper into the stretches. Followed by a Yoga Nidra - deep relaxation. Restorative yoga can be done by anyone - even if you have never done yoga before.
1.45-2.15pm - Mindfulness and Meditation - an opportunity to try a guided mindfulness exercise, followed by a short meditation. Fantastic for reducing stress and bringing quietness to the mind and body. Can be done on the floor, on a cushion, lying down or in a chair so suitable for everyone. Koha donation.
