Yani's aim and life purpose is 'to help people find their joy in life through singing'.

Yani has experienced a very successful and eclectic career as a singer, performer, choir mistress and workshop facilitator.

Her love of all styles of music is matched by her abilities. Equally adept in styles from Blues to Gospel, Traditional African styles to Indian Devotional singing, from Soul to Klezmer. Yani has always been passionate about the arts and though her first love was acting and dancing, it was singing and music that was her calling.

Over the years, Yani's natural desire to impart her experience and knowledge others has seen her become choir mistress for several choirs in (Australia and India) a private singing coach, a multi-disciplinary singing, voice, body percussion and confidence/performance workshop facilitator, an event producer and more.

Yani's versatility, warmth, compassion and natural ability to help others with singing and performing has resulted in a large community of followers.

Yani's teaching style is practical, fun and engaging, and her techniques come from both an inherent understanding of what singing is all about and what people need. She helps people to overcome stage fright, fall in love with their own voice, and sing with true heart and emotion.
