From 86s, MR2s, to Hilux, Hiaces, and Corollas, we’ve seen it all! We’ve had Track and Drift sessions, a Motokhana, and if the tracks not really your thing we run a Show & Shine competition. Or just come along and park up your Toyota, enjoy the festivities and be in to win some cool spot prizes.
About the Festival
If you love speed, super-hot Toyotas and the sound of tyres on tarmac, the Toyota Festival is your must-attend event of the summer.
Initiated in 2013 by a group of passionate Toyota 86, and MR2 owners, the Toyota Festival has the backing of Toyota New Zealand and continues to expand to cater for all Toyota enthusiasts young and old, modern and classic, high-tech and vintage and now reigns as the biggest single-manufacturer track event of the year.
Toyota has a long history of creating cars that resonate strongly with automotive enthusiasts – vehicles such as the 86, MR2 and Altezza which have a huge following here in New Zealand. “The Toyota Festival is our way of giving back to our loyal customers, there is something for everyone to get involved in,” says Andrew Davis, Toyota New Zealand’s General Manager of Marketing.
