Update: My public classes are not going to happen for a while due to Covid 19 restrictions, however I am committed to still providing musical joy, uplift and companionship online!
What makes a good singer? Turns out, it's really simple.
You need an amazing teacher like me!
In this in-depth six week course, we'll explore the essential skills to perform infront of people. We'll cover breathing, warm-ups, freedom of vocal tone, range issues, expression & interpretation, voice maintenance and a raft of stagecraft strategies.
If you're serious about challenging yourself to sing in front of people in 2020, then this course is a must! 16+
Each week you'll be on your feet, playing with your voice, trying new ideas, singing infront of your classmates and work-shopping new ideas.
By the end of this six weeks, you will be super ready to showcase a song in front of an invited audience at Shed 23 on May 8th.
You will learn such a lot from your fellow class mates, as they too experiment and learn. NB: No music reading is required.
This twelve hour course includes course materials, backing trax, a one-on-one lesson in preparation for the showcase, and extra-curricular support.
Who is this suitable for? Any level of experience is welcome. It also doesn't matter what type of genre you're into.
Applications close: Midday March 9th
PS: As an amazing teacher as I am, this course will require you to practise & implement ideas in-between sessions!
Please note: Not for existing students
