As part of the Suffrage in Stitches programme and in association with the National Council of Women, we will be screening a visual collaboration between NCW and the Wellington Museum; containing 24 women and girls from all walks of life, answering the question ‘What does Suffrage mean to you?’

Mona-Pauline Mangakāhia will be speaking to her whakapapa and the work of her great-grandmother Meri Te Tai Mangakahia alongside the President of NCW Sonja Randhawa leading up to the screening.

Afterwards, there will be activities run by Girl Guiding New Zealand in the Flux Space where everybody can also have a look at the Suffrage in Stitches exhibition. Koha.
