NCMA’s Celebration Series is back for 2020.

Celebrating the joy of music with 3 special concerts in March, April and May. Audience members will be able to relax and enjoy performances featuring wonderful local, national and international musicians.

The first concert in the Series features the NCMA Chamber Orchestra with special guests Michael Tsalka and Richard Mapp.

NCMA’s Chamber Orchestra is a professional ensemble including many NCMA teaching staff.

Michael Tsalka is an acclaimed Dutch/Israeli keyboard specialist, performer and NCMA’s Artist in Residence during February, March & April 2020. Winner of multiple prizes and grants, he is a versatile musician who performs solo and chamber music repertoire from the early Baroque era to our days.

Richard Mapp is one of NZ’s most loved and accomplished pianists who has performed widely in Europe and Australasia.
