12 Bar

12 Bar Presents a Tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Stevie Ray Vaughan died tragically in 1990 at the age of 35. On May 15th we remember him and the music that has touched the lives of so many people.

Pride and Joy Blues Band are performing a one-off show of classic Stevie Ray Vaughan songs. Fronting the band is Matt Hall, one of the stars of our Jimi Hendrix tribute, who can be seen regularly shredding his guitar around town in the Elevators and Little Kitchen. Be prepared for some serious groove.

Stevie Ray Vaughan has a special place in Matt Hall’s heart as the guitarist who originally sparked his interest in the guitar, and he has remained a major influence on Matt’s guitar style.

Matt formed Pride and Joy to faithfully perform the music of Stevie Ray Vaughan as fans remember it. “I’m putting together this tribute as a huge fan of the music,” says Matt, “so I want it to sound as close as we can get to how Stevie Ray and Double Trouble sounded.”

Blues fans will not want to miss this show.
