Ingrid Culliford is a renowned flautist with both national and international experience. The programme will be made up of a variety of classical and modern compositions that respond to Sue Cooke’s current exhibition Long Hee Lee – A Songless Land. Culliford aims to put the song back into the Songless Land starting with Debussy's Syrinx, followed by NZ composer Anthony Ritchie's "Tui". Other pieces will include a soundscape by Japanese composer Fukushima, Jean Rivier’s Oiseaux Tendres and Bach’s Sarabande. Admission by Donation. Drinks and Nibbles will be served.
