Christchurch City Council in partnership with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, present a special series of three intimate performances in Victoria Square this summer.
Symphony in the City, launches with a special show for young families featuring the ‘symphonic fairy tale for children’ Peter and The Wolf. The Christchurch Symphony Orchestra with narrator Juanita Hepi will perform Pita me te wuruhi in both Te Reo Māori and English.
Performance times:
Te reo Māori: 11 am - 11:30am
English: 12:30pm - 1 pm
The Symphony in the City series will take place in Victoria Square on 16, 23 and 30 January with a different musical theme presented at each event.
