Taranaki Comedy Club

June's Taranaki Comedy club sees the return of club favourite Rhys Mathewson after a sellout season of his new show at the NZ International Comedy Festival. You know him from 7 Days, 7 Sharp and Have You Been Paying Attention.

Joining Rhys will be The Project's own Tony Lyall. This formerly Blenheim lad just debuted on the Comedy Gala to critical acclaim and it's great to welcome him back to New Plymouth for the first time in 3 years.

Liv Mckenzie is a rapidly rising star on the comedy scene too. After winning the Comedy Festival's Best Newcomer award in 2019, Liv has just done her first Comedy gala and is becoming a regular face on 7 Days. Don't miss her debut at the TCC!
