Enjoy dynamic live kapa haka performances in celebration of Matariki. Kapa haka from all over Auckland will share waiata and haka in a series of performances in Takutai Square. You can also catch live music performances from Māori and Pacific artists, as part of Matariki on the Move: Waiata, from 12:50pm to 1:10pm each day. There's hāngī lunch available to purchase from 23-25 June, with Hāngī Master Rewi Spraggon serving up steaming hot kai from his hāngī pit. The perfect opportunity for fans of waiata, kai and kapa haka to come together and join the festivities!
