'Uncertainty' has littered our headlines for the past year: uncertain times, economic uncertainty, housing uncertainty, and uncertainty clouding future events and plans. Artist Lindsey Horne asks, what does uncertainty really mean for people in their day-to-day lives? The Uncertainty Project is her attempt to answer this question.

Horne, who has a background in neuroscience and behavioural research, conducted ethnographic and qualitative research with eight subjects across a three month period to understand the lived experience of their uncertainty. The resulting portraits and artworks document her findings and provide a window into intimate experiences, capturing raw and real responses. This exhibition also features work by Alfriston College Learners.

Located in the Main Gallery, Level 1.

Open: 10 April - 12 June (CLOSED on Sundays)
