The Kotuku Quintet, Simon Ansell (violin), John Seagar (violin), Judith Gust (viola), Sally-Anne Brown (cello) and Louise Webster (piano) return to Whittakers Musical Museum to perform Dvorak and Mozart.

In the words of the Quintet, 'Chamber music was originally intended to be performed by accomplished amateurs in their homes for their own enjoyment and that of their friends and family. We are a group of five accomplished musicians who obtain great personal satisfaction from maintaining this fine chamber music tradition.'

Rehearsing together regularly they perform to share their love of music with others.  Sally-Anne and John studied music professionally and it is their career as well as their passion.  Simon, Louise and Judith studied engineering, medicine, and library science, as well as playing chamber music in St Matthew's Chamber Orchestra.

The programme is the popular Dvorak Piano Quintet in A, op. 81 and the Mozart Viola Quintet in G minor, K 516, with Louise cleverly swapping the piano for the viola for the Mozart.
