Stories from Here and There

To celebrate the end of the 2022 Karukatea Festival for our tamariki, Featherston Booktown is delighted to bring to town Moira Wairama and African American storyteller, Tony Hopkins.

Together they perform throughout New Zealand as Soul Food Tellers. Moira is a Wellington-based storyteller and writer specializing in telling bi-lingual Māori legends and in creating original New Zealand stories.

Their show Stories from Here and There features Māori, African, and Cherokee tales and is suitable for audiences of all ages.
