Discover the many stories of Sudan in this exhibit curated by the Sudanese community of Aotearoa New Zealand.

On display in Te Taunga, the Museum's Community Hub, this exhibit showcases the history and art of this culturally rich country, told by Sudanese people of many varied ancestries and lifestyles.

Just as the Blue and White Nile meet in Sudan, A Confluence of Cultures celebrates the intersection of Sudanese diversity, and nurtures the relationship with our communities in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Join New Zealand's Sudanese community for a day of activities and performance to celebrate the culture of Sudan. From live music and fashion to a traditional wedding demonstration, this is your chance to learn more about this diverse country.

11AM – 1.30PM: Sudanese map digital interactive (using your own device), Orientation Space
