Claire tells us that little adventures are just as important as big ones. They are the small steps in the right direction that get you there eventually. Over the last few years when she hasn’t been able to travel overseas Claire has travelled more in New Zealand, appreciating what we have already and allowing her mind to wander further. Letting her stories come out to play in her paintings, Claire sees them as portholes to another world.

Clare is a prolific artist and you wont be disappointed with the plentiful selection of oils painted on rounds of wood that she has produced for your pleasure. With her quirky illustrative style you will be amazed and delighted to have a few little adventures of your own when you are surrounded and immersed in her world.

Claire Delaney McLeary is an illustrator and writer living in Rotorua. Originally from the UK her love of travel and adventures feeds her art. Her style is often described as whimsical and quirky. She delights in characters on the fridge of life. The rebels and misfits who see the world differently. Alongside writing and illustrating several books she has taught in the community for over thirty years. She is passionate about the creative process and wants to share that journey with you. https://clairedelaney.com/about-me/
