Friends of the Christ Church Organ present to you Organ Scholar of Wellington Cathedral of St. Paul, Max Toth.
Max is currently studying an undergraduate BMus degree in organ performance with Douglas Mews at Te Kōkī New Zealand School of music, Victoria University of Wellington. Max has had the opportunity to perform in concerts around New Zealand and Europe with particular highlights being performing at the Gedächtniskirche in Berlin and playing continuo and organ with the WCO, APO and NZSO.

In 2021, 2022 and 2023 Max has been awarded the Ian Pollard Organ Scholarship by the New Zealand School of Music and the Richard Prothero Organ Scholarship by the Wellington Cathedral of St Paul. Max is looking to progress further within his organ studies and exploring a wider and more obscure range of organ repertoire while developing his continuo technique.
