Midday Concert Series

Roman Rudnytsky is an American concert pianist originally from Ukraine who has performed around the world for many years. A graduate of the Juilliard School in New York, he has played concerts in over 100 countries. He has performed as a soloist and with symphony orchestras in the US, Canada, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Poland and Ukraine.

Mr. Rudnytsky is a prizewinner of many international competitions. He has played numerous concerts and conducted many masterclasses around the world. This will be Mr Rudnytsky’s 14th visit to New Zealand since the early 1980’s—playing eleven recitals in towns and cities throughout New Zealand.

Mr Rudnytsky will play works by Goodchild, Ravel, Talma and Chopin at the Midday Concert in Taupō on Friday 5 May. The concert will be held at St Andrew’s Church from 12-1pm and there will be a $10 entry fee (cash only please).
