Asian(sound)scapes X Ponsonby Social Presents: Ms. Mia and Clarissa Chai & Amir Yussof

Ms. Mia and Clarissa Chai: a Collaboration Born from Joy
Brought together by the pure joy of songwriting, the dynamic duo of singer-songwriter Mia Caintic (Ms. Mia) and music producer Clarissa (a.k.a Something They Call Myth and TEAM152) started collaborating in 2022. Both with their own artist projects - they perform together to explore the sonic foundations of their songs in live settings. They create heartfelt pop melodies layered with vocal harmonies.

Amir Yussof: a Musical Journey Across Boundaries
Amir Yussof, a true musical polymath, takes the stage with a rich blend of cultural influences. Of mixed Malay/Swiss parentage, Amir's journey led him to New Zealand in 2016, where he now resides in the countryside. With over 25 years of stage performance under his belt, three solo albums, and a reputation as a creative and non-conventional artist, Amir is a seasoned performer who brings maturity and depth to every note. Amir continues to explore new musical horizons and lends his voice to various projects from his home studio. His occasional single releases, along with live performances at local events, keep his audience eagerly anticipating each musical offering. You can find all of his music on his website (www.amiryussof.com) or on your favourite streaming platforms, including YouTube Music.
