Rita Angus tour with String Quartet

The Auckland University String Quartet will be hosting a live rendition of Four Canzonas for strings by Douglas Lilburn. Lilburn, who was instrumental in establishing a national style of composition draws on nature and the open countryside as inspiration, similar to the landscapes of Rita Angus. Together with Lizzie Bisley, Te Papa's Curator Modern Art, join us for an exciting tour of Rita Angus: New Zealand Modernist | He Ringatoi Hou o Aotearoa.
