Horizons Regional Council would like to invite teachers from early childhood education centres, primary and secondary schools, including kura kaupapa Māori to attend a free ‘Taking Action on Sustainability’ hui.

The hui is open to teachers from Palmerston North, Manawatū, Rangitīkei and Horowhenua with first priority given to those teachers who are not involved in the Enviroschools programme.

You will have the chance to connect with a range of sustainability/environmental providers, hear from other schools/centres on their sustainability practices, collect tips and takeaway activities on a range of sustainability themes, and to connect with each other.

Registrations are required and there will be limited teacher release funding available for one teacher per school/centre to attend. For more information email education@horizons.govt.nz.
