This newly-formed ensemble will be making their debut tour for Chamber Music New Zealand. Award-winning musicians Andrew Beer (violin) and Sarah Watkins (piano) will be joined by two colleagues from the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra - principal violist Robert Ashworth and sub-principal cellist Chen Cao.
Their programme features two of the greatest and most popular works in the piano quartet repertoire by Mozart and Dvořák, plus works by Englishman Frank Bridge and New Zealand's Janet Jennings.
Because of repairs to their usual venue the Waikanae Music Society will be holding this concert at the Uniting Parish Church in Raumati. Tickets will be available at the normal outlets: Waikanae New World and Moby Dickens Books in Paraparaumu Beach. Door sales will be available, but due to the smaller venue bookings are recommended.
