Wings Over Wairarapa Air Festival 2023

Unfortunately, we regret to inform everyone that due to adverse weather around the country affecting the arrival of some of our aircraft, Wings Over Wairarapa has made the decision to postpone the full Saturday show to Sunday, 26 November. 

We understand the inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your understanding as safety is our top priority. Please note the following important information regarding your tickets.

All Saturday tickets will be automatically transferred to Sunday, 26 November, by Eventfinda. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

If you find yourself unable to attend the rescheduled event on Sunday, we understand. We will open a refund period of four weeks for those who cannot make it tomorrow. This refund option will be facilitated through your point of purchase.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Our decision to reschedule is driven by the commitment to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

Wings Over Wairarapa Air Festival has a new date, the Masterton-based festival that attracts tens of thousands from across Aotearoa as well as international visitors will now take place from 24-26 November 2023.

The festival was postponed this month due to the response and ongoing recovery after Cyclone Gabrielle as well as the ongoing unpredictability of the weather. The original Festival dates were February 24 – 26 2023.

All tickets remain valid for the new dates announced. Please note, tickets already purchased will have February dates but the all-important QR code will continue to work.

The beautiful Wairarapa provides a stunning backdrop to an extravaganza of aerial action over three days. You will see over 70 aircraft including vintage, military, jets, helicopters, aerobatic displays and much more! In addition to the spectacular flying programme, there are fantastic ground displays, stalls and activities for small and big kids alike.

Whether you are an aviation enthusiast or just want an entertaining day out for your friends and family, Wings over Wairarapa has so much to offer.
