Abba Heaven! At Merchant of Matamata

NZ's own beloved ABBA Tribute Band ABBA Heaven!

Based in Auckland, ABBA Heaven! feature the powerhouse vocals of Ness Abernethy as "Agnetha", with Pauline Berry as "Frida", Shaun Petterson as "Bjorn" and John Gorbey on keyboards and guitar as "Benny".


The band perform in replica ABBA costumes, featuring three and four part harmony, the band takes the audience through the epic hits like Gimme Gimme Gimme, Does Your Mother Know, I Do I Do I D, Ring Ring, Honey Honey, Rock Me, Waterloo, SOS, Money Money Money, Mamma Mia and of course Dancing Queen. 


Winner of the Top Group Award at the Variety Artists Entertainment Awards in 2023 AKA The Bennys with Ness Abernethy Winning Top Female Vocalist.


Over two big sets they perform over 30 beloved ABBA songs, the audience sings along to the gorgeous melodies of Fernando, Chiquitita, Angel Eyes, Slipping Through My Fingers, Winner Takes It All and I Have A Dream.
