Polish cellist Susanne Szambelan and New Zealand saxophonist Hayden Chisholm perform Zoltán Kodály’s Sonata for Solo Cello, Op. 8. Together, they offer a new take on this seminal cello work, the movements punctuated by saxophone and taonga puoro improvisations based on Kodály’s themes.
