Join us in this brand-new class to try out this amazing technique!

Precious Metal Clay is an incredible product made from metal particles (in this class we will be using fine silver) mixed with an organic binder. When your pieces are shaped - just like a modelling clay - they are then dried and fused in the kiln. That process takes only a few minutes so there is plenty of time in this 3-hour class to complete your projects.

Beginners start with simple pendants/earrings. It is much easier to start with flat projects so we leave the rings for the advanced class!

Jewellery pieces can be textured and shaped however you like, and if you don't like your piece simply squish it and start again - Precious Metal Clay is the ultimate recyclable material!

Included in the course fee is 10 grams of fine silver clay, enough to make a pendant and earrings, or one pair of large earrings - it's up to you.

Extra findings such as earring hooks and chains will be available to purchase (you can also make your earring hooks if you are feeling adventurous). We will also have gold leaf available to purchase.

This class is great for teens and kids over 12 or so. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver.
