Thursday Heritage Concert - Flamboyance

In collaboration with Auckland Philharmonia’s Aspiring Musicians Programme, Strings on Streets bring a fresh and flamboyant programme of classical and iconic movie theme favourites. Included are Hadyn’s Emperor Quartet in C, and Mozart’s String Quartet No.20, contrasted with the evocative tango “Por Una Cabeza” by Carlos Cardell. As a quartet, Strings on Streets have performed in various venues, charity galas, art auctions and more. As students studying various degrees at the University of Auckland, joining the Auckland Philharmonia Aspiring Musicians Programme was a rewarding decision that continues to fuel the true love for music
