Yoga For Life - 5 weeks course
Experience yoga's positive impact in your daily life 

Welcome to 5 Thursday mornings of 75-minutes yoga classes. Here we move mindfully through yoga asanas (postures), fousing on alignment of body and awareness of breath as we open up and release tension. We calm and center the mind and arrive in the present moment. In addition to the yoga poses we will also explore short seated meditations and guided relaxations. All to support your journey of well-being. This is a class for you to pause and be with your self - as you are.

Each week has a specific theme or focus for you to explore that particular aspect a bit closer. At the end of each class I'll give you a simple practise to incorporate into your week. The main purpose of these home practises is to enhance your awareness and bring more presence into your daily life. You will also be recommended a couple of yoga poses to do at home - if you wish. Please note that these home practises are simply for your own benefit and enjoyment, so it is of course completely up to you if you would like to do them or not. Meaning, I promise there won't be any quiz.

I've chosen to call this course Yoga for Life because an intentional yoga practise can create beautiful ripple effects on all aspects of life and how we view and navigate the world around us. I have witnessed this is my many students and fellow yogis over the years. It is of course fantastic enough if you enjoy the classes and they are helping you to unwind, recharge and/or simply feel better. My next wish is for you to also experience how practising yoga can have a positive impact on the rest of your life! Previous students have enthusiastically shared how their sleep has improved, pain has been reduced and their mobility, stamnia and strength enhanced. They notice how they are less reactive and have a general calmer state of mind, which is helping them to deal with challenges in a more resilient and resourceful way. They feel brighter, clearer, more relaxed and even more creative. The list goes on! The benefits are truly endless, as bringing yoga into your life can put you in touch with your own inner nature - where there is an abundance of energy and inspiration!

This course is suitable for beginners and seasoned yogis alike. If you are new to yoga or have been away from it for a while - this makes a great place to start/resume. And even if you've been practising lots already - here you'll get the opportunity to expand and extend your yoga practise - on as well as off the mat. I will be available for you via email throughout the length of the course to support your yoga journey and answer any questions that might arise.

I've been practicing yoga for more than 20 years and have personally experienced immense benefits on all levels of my being (physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically) and it is my passion and great joy to share this profound practice with others - helping YOU to tune in to your self.
