Fortune Theatre - 40 Years New

2014 provides a special opportunity for Fortune Theatre, not only to continue to enrich the Otago and Southland community with some of New Zealand’s most thrilling theatre, but to celebrate the exclusive occasion that is our 40th Anniversary.

From humble beginnings in 1974 to where the Theatre stands within Dunedin’s Arts and Cultural society today, it certainly will be a special celebration. Fortune Theatre was created by a small group of passionate enthusiastic actors/ directors and they set forward to enlighten and entertain their community. Fast forward 40 years and the Fortune is a successful professional theatre company that has firmly cemented itself as a popular entertainment establishment within Dunedin.
