Gabriella Lewenz is a Greek born American New Zealand artist living on Waiheke Island.
Her abstract oil paintings capture the beauty and mystery of the land and sea surrounding her island home and studio. Texture, layers, and movement of colour feature strongly in Gabriella's art pieces.
She's exhibited in galleries in NYC, Boston, CT, Italy and Auckland and continues to draw the admiration of collectors around the world. Her works are in private collections throughout the EU, USA, Canada, UK, Hong Kong, Australia, Japan and Singapore.
With her commission works Gabriella offers gentle and respectful insight in what her clients want conveyed or commemorated in their painting. Her works have been described as 'sacred, restorative and beautifully compelling'.
