Osborne Street is a classy, upmarket entertainment bar in the heart of Newmarket, that opened late 2009.

Our primary focus is to provide our customers with quality products, through our comprehensive list of New Zealand and Australian wines, classy cocktail list, and our selection of premium beers. While offering a unique food selection, ranging from perfectly constructed platters to authentic Italian style pizzas. Osborne Street is motivated to become a hub for entertainers and musicians, promoting upcoming and well established artists in the New Zealand music industry while providing our customers with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Osborne Street is located in the old Kent's Bakery arcade. It is a two-storied brick building with a corrugated iron roof supported by timber beams that became "George Kent and Sons Bakery". It was constructed in 1906 in the Victorian Industrial style. The building is typical of many similar brick warehouses and factory buildings that once graced many small side streets of Newmarket, reflecting the early industrial heritage of the area. Kent's Bakery was one of the longest continuous running and successful businesses in Newmarket's history."
