Your perfect Sunday starts here!

Join Pip for a beautiful community yin restorative class.
Let go, relax and totally unwind from stress.

Community Yoga Class Every Saturday and Sunday 9:00am - 10.15am

Entry is by Koha (pay what you can afford - ie gold coin to $20)

Held as an offering to our local community, an opportunity to experience the power and transformation of Yoga & Meditation.

Bring your friends, enjoy a cup of chai after class and meet your local community of like minded individuals.

Come and heal, grow and expand into your fullest potential.

Every Saturday and Sunday we open this space to invite a guest teacher to offer a class of their choosing as a gift to the community and to themselves. Teachers may be experienced international teachers that are traveling the world and visiting our beautiful shores, or local teachers from The Mount / Tauranga and further afield. Their experience may be vast or they may have just finished their Teacher Training and gaining their first experience teaching in a yoga studio.

Either way we will find great depth of connection gathering as a community to celebrate the healing qualities of our yoga practice, meeting others that share the same passion or curiosity as you and reveling in the mystery.

Each month, proceeds from the Community Yoga Classes are donated to an awesome Community Charity Organisation.

This week we are so pleased to host Pip Mills as our Guest Teacher:
"Your perfect Sunday starts here!
Join me for a beautiful community yin and restorative class on.
Let go, relax and totally unwind from the stresses of the week, all while contributing back to your local community.

Yin yoga allows release of the fascia, or connective tissue that holds everything in place in our body. This connective tissue is released during yin poses, through holding moderate tension for longer (up to five minute) periods.

This class will focus on fascia releasing around the hips, back and leg muscles. You can expect to leave this class feeling totally relaxed and at ease - how you should feel on a Sunday right?
Look forward to sharing the love!

About Pip:
My nana planted the seed that began my yoga journey when I was 7 or so - I remember doing sun salutations with her in the living room. I dabbled in yoga for the next 15 years, but it wasn't until I became unwell with chronic fatigue and ibs in 2016 that I started a more regular practise. Yoga, especially yin, gentle hatha, restorative yoga and meditation helped me transform through this journey of change, healing and reflection. Yoga has helped me understand myself, accept my body and mind, and be grateful for the beautiful rollercoaster of life. After completing my 200 YTT in Piha in October 2019 I am SO excited to share the beautiful knowledge I have learnt!

My background is in earth sciences and more recently natural health. I am passionate about learning from nature as teacher and appreciating where we came from. In my spare time I surf, tramp, garden, read and drink copious amounts of tea."
