Wish Upon a Matariki. Once Upon a Lockdown

Taupo Museum invite the community to reflect, and share their lock-down story, as we look to move forward during what has been an ‘unprecedented time’.

There will be activities for all the whanau - make a wish upon Hiwa-i-te-rangi, play a life-sized Maori board game, and enter our lockdown teddy bear hunt competition. We will also have our brand-new moa display for you to check out too, all in time for the July school holidays!

Taupō Museum is open 7 days from 10am to 4:30pm and entry is free to Taupō District residents with proof of address. Children 0 – 18 Free, Seniors 60+ and Students $3, Adults $5
