Come and have an experience of 2 ancient traditions cradled together in Space - Maori musical instruments in harmony with yoga.

Traditional Maori musical instruments (Taonga Puoro) reflect the sounds of our natural environment - the maunga -mountains , awa - rivers, whenua - land + the moana - sea. Our Maori people have used these instruments as tools to heal and promote hauora - a healthy body, mind and spirit.

‘Taonga Puoro’ hold the vibration of our natural world and when played this vibration resonates within; through us and it can help us rebalance; reconnect to the intelligence and power of nature.
In this event Jerome Kavanagh – who also shares Tainui ancestory with Lana Bright – will guide music and Lana will curate some simple and nourishing yoga shapes to encourage the vibrations to enrich our inner landscape.

Jerome is a Maori ancestral musician, who inspires a deep connection with nature as he offers his gift. He brings to life the ancient and organic vibrations of the Maori into Space this February.
Each of his events in Space have sold out quickly.

Visit Jerome on Facebook.

Lana is of Ngapuhi, Ngati Porou + Tainui descent.
