Postmodern Jukebox - Welcome to The Twenties 2.0 Tour in Hawke's Bay / Gisborne
The multi-talented musical collective Postmodern Jukebox are bringing their re-imagined contemporary hits back to NZ stages this October 2019. They will be performing in Tauranga, Auckland, Hamilton, Napier, Palmerston North, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin on their 'Welcome to The Twenties 2.0' tour.
Before playing for their eagerly-awaiting Kiwi fans, PMJ will first wind up their massive Australian tour. They'll be wowing audiences in Darwin, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Bendigo, Hobart, Cairns, Townsville, Toowoomba, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Penrith, Newcastle, Canberra, Sydney and Wollongong.
The NZ and AU shows are part of PMJ's official 'Twenties 2.0' initiation performance parties that will see the group performing in nearly 250 cities all around the world to usher in the upcoming 2020s and welcome a new decade of music. PMJ creator Scott Bradlee hopes this new decade will see a return to the style and craftsmanship that typified the music of past generations.
"Last time around the '20s gave us Jazz, America's one true art form. Who knows what is possible in the 2020s? ...We're using our small corner of the pop culture space to tell people to forget their troubles, and come join us for a night of celebrating true musical talent and timeless style—live and in real life." - Scott Bradlee
Started by Scott Bradlee in 2009, Postmodern Jukebox (PMJ) have gone on to amass over one billion YouTube views, gained over three million subscribers, and have chalked up more than one million fans on Facebook. For the past half-decade, PMJ have played hundreds of shows to sold-out houses on six continents. They've also performed on shows like 'Good Morning America', topped iTunes and Billboard charts, and caught the attention of NPR Music, NBC News and a wide array of celebrity fans.
Get ready for the most sensational '20s party feels this 2019 with Postmodern Jukebox!
