Starting life back in 2005 as Cyberpets, now trading as Pet Central, the story really began with successful advertising on Trade Me.
Owner Linda, cut her teeth in the family Pet Store in Lower Hutt in the 1980’s with animal welfare always being her passion it is no surprise that she found her way back to the Pet Industry. Now owning four stores in Christchurch, a very busy online store and in February 2018 Pet Central Timaru opened their doors – within a few months of opening the Timaru store the Timaru Pet Central team won the Business Enterprise Award for retail in South Canterbury for Business Excellence in Retail. This is an award we are all extremely proud of.
In July 2019 Linda was nominated to the Westpac Women of Influence Awards and made it through as a finalist in the Business Enterprise category. This nomination recognizes women who have committed time and energy to making a significant change to their industry. This was such an unexpected honour.
