Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Incorporated celebrates with artists of Kahungunu to showcase works that are an acknowledgement of Matariki, as a time to remember those who have passed on, spend time with whanau and friends and plan for the future.

This year’s exhibition will feature artwork from students of Toimairangi, Te Wananga o Aotearoa and artists of the Iwi Toi Kahuhungu Artist Collective; focussing on the significance of the stars that make up the Matariki constellation, the power of perseverance and showing aroha for one another.
